Grip, the company which created the world’s first artificial intelligence (AI) event networking solution today announces the launch of its API (Application Programme Interface) to enable event applications to integrate its matchmaking engine into their own apps.
Five companies have been the first to sign up with Grip to provide integrated business event networking apps via the API including Eventfuel, ITM Mobile, Attendease, Goomeo and Loopd.
Grip’s artificial intelligence powered matchmaking platform, which is currently taking the events world by storm, can now integrate with any event app or website through REST APIs. This makes it possible for event businesses to easily integrate Grip into their products.
Tim Groot, CEO of Grip explains: “By launching our API, we have widened the scope of our unique event matchmaking solution so that it can be used via a company’s own website or existing digital apps. It provides a seamless and simple solution for companies keen to use our matchmaking engine in the optimum way and who want to integrate it with their existing solutions.”
“The AI event networking tool, with its clever use of advanced algorithms created by Grip was already unique and we have now reached another industry first as no other matchmaking engine currently exists that has become available via an API. This is why we have been able partner quickly with five companies including online event management company Attendease, indoor event navigation specialist ITM Mobile, event engagement platform Loopd and event app specialists Goomeo and Eventfuel.io.”
Todd Heintz, CEO of Attendease comments: “As an event portfolio management platform, having the matchmaking and analytics capabilities of Grip as a value-add to the Attendease solution offers something unique to our customers and their happy event attendees.”
Robbie Howshall, COO of SmartUp, the micro-learning platform for entrepreneurs and the sixth company to partner with Grip via the API comments: “Grip’s technology will help us to connect people on the SmartUp platform in an engaging and relevant way. The integration has been very easy and the technical support we are getting from the team has been great.”
Grip recently reached one million swipes on its fun and addictive interface which allows users at events to swipe right to find those they are interested in meeting.
